Mission

The Lava Lake Institute works to accomplish conservation and increase understanding of the wildlife and ecosystems of the Pioneer Mountain - Craters of the Moon Region.

Sources of Support

The Lava Lake Institute is a 501c3 non-profit organization that relies on charitable contributions. To date, we have received funding from the following sources:

This funding has been put to work in projects such as:

• Our study of pronghorn migration in the Pioneer Mountains-Craters of the Moon landscape with multiple partners.
• Collaboration with the Pioneers Alliance to accomplish conservation in the Pioneer Mountains-Craters of the Moon region.
• Development of the Lava Lake Research Fund to formalize commitment to supporting scientific research
